Counseling sessions are by appointment, and they are scheduled once the client has completed initial forms and documents through a secure online portal. Counseling sessions are typically 50 to 55 minutes in length. If you arrive late to your session, please expect that we will end on the scheduled time, so that we are able to protect the next client's hour.
Once scheduled, your session time is protected as yours. Missed sessions are costly in time and revenue (insurance does not cover unfulfilled appointments). If not due to an emergency, late-cancellations or no-shows will incur a charge that you will have to pay out-of-pocket. These policies are outlined in detail in paperwork you will receive, if we decide to work together.
For cancellations, please provide at least 24 hours notice by calling the following number day or night (please leave a voicemail which will be time stamped): 208.745.2700.
Mountain View is mainly Private Pay we believe that everyone deserves the highest quality of therapeutic services regardless of their "label", "diagnosis", or lack there of. Insurance companies require that the client has a diagnosed mental health disorder and that treatment is deemed medically necessary, they can also dictate the number of allowed sessions. We believe in assisting the individual; the client is in charge of their own therapy, and as a team we set goals, determine progress, and achieve success as defined by the client.
We are happy to provide billing information for you to seek reimbursement from your insurance agency (we are out-of-network). Clients are responsible for the portion that insurance does not cover, including copay, coinsurance, or deductible — fees that clients should look into and know ahead of time, before scheduling an appointment. Please know your medical insurance plan and benefits.
In efforts to provide better services for our community we are an Optum Idaho Approved Provider. We also accept United Behavioral Health, CIGNA, Regence Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Idaho, and their associates.
*Please check with your Insurance Company to see if their Mental /Behavioral Health Care Plan falls under your PRIMARY Insurance before setting up a session.
