APPOINTMENTS
Counseling sessions are by appointment, and they are scheduled once the client has completed initial forms and documents through a secure online portal. Counseling sessions are typically 50 to 55 minutes in length. If you arrive late to your session, please expect that we will end on the scheduled time, so that we are able to protect the next client's hour.
Once scheduled, your session time is protected as yours. Missed sessions are costly in time and revenue (insurance does not cover unfulfilled appointments). If not due to an emergency, late-cancellations or no-shows will incur a charge that you will have to pay out-of-pocket. These policies are outlined in detail in paperwork you will receive, if we decide to work together.
For cancellations, please provide at least 24 hours notice by calling the following number day or night (please leave a voicemail which will be time stamped): 208.745.2700.
INSURANCE & PAYMENTS
Mountain View is an in-network provider for many insurance plans, including Optum, Regence, Blue Cross and Blue Shield, United Behavioral Health, Cigna, and Magellan Health. We also offer private pay options because We believe everyone deserves the highest quality therapeutic services regardless of their "label" or "diagnosis." While insurance companies require a diagnosed mental health disorder and deem treatment medically necessary, they may also dictate the number of allowed sessions. We believe in assisting the individual; the client is in charge of their own therapy. Together, we set goals, determine progress, and achieve success as defined by the client.
We are happy to provide billing information for you to seek reimbursement from your insurance agency if we are out-of-network. Clients are responsible for any portion not covered by insurance, including copay, coinsurance, or deductible. Please know your medical insurance plan and benefits ahead of time, before scheduling an appointment.
